About the Client

TaiSol Electronics Co., Ltd is a privately held company founded 1994 in Taiwan. The company started by focusing on connector solutions for the computer and electronics industry. To meet market demands, TaiSol established PC Card Connector manufacturing facilities in Taiwan.

In 1997, added Thermal Coolers solutions to its product line. In 2001, Connector and Cable manufacturing plant launched in Dong Guan, China. In 2002, Heat pipe and Module manufacturing plant launched in Suzhou, China. Over the years, TaiSol has steadily grown and expanded both in size and in product areas.

Abstract

TaiSol needed a quick and easy way to display all of their latest computer products to the dealer and end-user markets online.

Identified Challenge

Overall – Produce a home page that informs target market of all the latest TaiSol products.

Marketing – Convey the following message/concepts:

• Review TaiSol product offering to dealers and end-users
• Define target market for website home page
• Select most important TaiSol products to integrate into home page design
• Create Flash home page overview that displays hottest products

By displaying a Flash banner on the TaiSol home page, dealers and end-users have an easy, intuitive way to be informed of the latest TaiSol product offering, without having to navigate the website.
